1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
4. Ensure inclusive & equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
This project targets mainly men and women who experience homelessness and who are accompanied by the NGO, APPEL. This collaboration between the ENL Foundation and APPEL will provide training to 15-20 homeless and disadvantaged people and boost their capacity and opportunity to find and secure employment.
The aim is to complement the existing reinsertion program of APPEL. Through a holistic approach, this project objective is to positively impact those experiencing homelessness and support them in acquiring skills (life skills, social & technical skills) and tools which can enable them in the long run to move from homelessness to their reintegration in society. Each activity proposed is part of a comprehensive program that promotes self-sufficiency, self-development through introspection and the building of self-confidence & esteem. Thus, contributing to improve the wellbeing and resilience of each individual targeted.
